Went to the Country Kitchen on our way through Cannon Falls. I got the French Toast and it was fantastic! Everything else on the menu looked really good too, I will try different things in the future because yes, I will be going there again. I gave it 4 stars because although, the food was great the employees were very quiet had no energy. It seemed like they just didn't want to be there.

Yuck.......I have not been to a Country Kitchen in like 20 years and I highly doubt I will ever be in one again. Be default only, Ci and I ended up taking my little nephews here last week and from the moment I pulled in, I could tell things were not going to be good... We were seated promptly, asked for a booster seat which we ended up getting ourselves, and was greeted by an overwhelmed server. We are not sure why she was so overwhelmed because there were hardly any people in the place. She brought the kids drinks, her service was a 3 star, not great but not bad, but the food sucked which did not surprise me. The kids meals looked ok....chocolate chip pancakes, and the other had eggs, pancakes, and bacon... I had this chicken sandwich which was barely edible and Ci had country fried steak, eggs, and hashbrowns which all looked cold to me. Ci likes luke warm food so it was OK for her but me, I probably would have sent it back. Sending food back in a place like this is risky though because you just don't know what you might get back! Not many options in Cannon Falls but I would stick with the local bars or Dairy Inn for better quality food.

He And She I.

If you are looking for a good breakfast on the way through southern Minnesota, and you can actually find this place, you'll be lucky. We had to drive past it twice to find a way to get there, but are glad we persisted. Good food, great service, nice stop.

I wish I was hungrier when I went here, my food portion was big. I ordered the Western burger and it was delicious. I loved it and I loved the cheap bill after it! This is definitely a true country kitchen that I remember from my childhood visits. Service was great as well! I'll stop by again when I'm in town.

Mediocre food and the worst service ever. The manager PAM is rude and obnoxious, do yourself a favor and go anywhere else or bring your own MRE-it would be better than the wait to get food there
